Meredith Brothers’ Cutting Edge Cold Mix was recently tested in Quito, Ecuador with great success. The material was manufactured in Columbus, OH and shipped to Quito for testing at various road sites. The material was placed in both dry and wet pot holes. The standard practice of patching potholes is to remove as much water as possible and then place the patch and then compact. The agency testing our Cutting Edge material was very happy with the results in the area that they DID NOT remove any water from the hole. Due to the environment it is normal practice to fill potholes that have standing water and Cutting Edge stayed in the “wet” patched areas.
